In a motion for resolution, the green deputy Gabriela Moser (Moser et al.) put the idea of an Alpine Crossing Exchange up for discussion in the National Council (the lower chamber of the Austrian Parliament). Reich et al. tabled the issue in the Federal Council. Back in mid-2006, the regional parliament of the Tyrol unanimously supported a request for the ACE.
